While I do have my own issues with VistaOutdoors, they have always come through on the Federal ammo rebates.
Honestly, call them and ask what the problem is. If you have receipt(s) for ten boxes and submitted the ten Barcodes and whatever else they required, you will likely get your full rebate if you follow up with them. |

Phone them up and ask what specifically went wrong.
Over the years,I have had my own stories concerning rebates, but the companies did finally come through. Even when the delivery company was at fault. ( My 500 free bullets ) |

I keep hearing these horror stories of rebates but I have done more rebates in my life that I can keep track of and I have never had an issue with any of them.

Had a rebate through them for a scope. At the end of the expected wait time, I called and was told to give them a few more weeks. Called them and again was told it was "being processed" and to give them a few more weeks.
I finally called Bushnell and raised hell. Had a check from them within a few days. |

This last Black Pack rebate will be my last. Not worth the hassle and 4-12 week wait or whatever it is. If I want to wait on something it will be NFA.

I never had a problem till last year, they had a rebate for a t-shirt with a ammo can of Federal 556.
I bought one from PSA and another from Target sports, both advertised as eligible. Rebate denied as not eligible. I wasn't that worried about a couple T shirts. |

I got my $50. Vista rebate on Monday. Email says that another is on the way.
I also got a box of 100 bullets from Hornady and there is another 100 on the way. No problems for me. |

I just checked mine. Said it was invalid. Needed a name of store where it was bought. Bought from Brownells. Brownell's was not an optiuon on the form so I did other...then Brownells. Did not get a packing invoice so I sent a screenshot of the order from them. It did not have "Brownells" on it. Called Brownells and they emailed a pdf of the packing list. I just emailed that to [email protected]. Maybe that will be all they need. Bet it pushed getting a check back another month. We will see!

Dang, I forgot to send off for my bullets when I bought my press, back during the panic. lol Too late now.
At that time Hornady stopped making a bunch of projectiles to concentrate on .224 for .223 / 5.56. I was loading for an AR in 5.56, but none of the ones I wanted were available. I was loading 6.8, but back then the only thing I used, and liked from them was the 110gr BTHP, which the stopped production of at the time. The only other thing I was loading was .45acp, and they didn't have any XTPs available. So, I decided to wait, and I waited too long. |

Got mine no issue. 8 boxes of Fusion at 5$/box...40$ to me. Took about 12 weeks but other than going "over" on the time projections it was pretty painless. I uploaded the info and photos from my phone in the parking lot after buying it and they accepted everything.

I have had SEVERAL issues with Academy orders through Active Junky, and most of them were paid after emailing back and forth and letting them know I don't appreciate their tactics of making the cashback 8% and them just never paying for the orders! I always use codes on Academy though, and supposedly that voids your cashback, but I always take my chances and have only been denied 1 of 6 orders so far, but we will see if they mess with my other pending orders...

I had issues with mine as well initially. They denied it as invalid due to the individual box price not being listed on my email receipt from Academy (even though the total cost was listed). I called in and griped about it. I sent over a screen shot of the price listed on the website and they accepted it, I got the confirmation email several days ago.
Academy pulled back my Active Junky cash back too. |
