I've been wondering the same thing, myself. Considering that all he did was intimidate a prisoner to obtain information, and that the police in this country do the same shit every single day (where the stakes are a hell of a lot LOWER), the only sane thing the Army can do is drop the charges, and issue an apology to the Col. for wasting his time.
