The severs appeared to be damaged from a bullet. When questioned about the event local police chief  said that it "must have been a .50 BMG fired at the server from at least 2 miles away," even though most of the evidence might lead one to think that it was caused by a ND from a .22 from the distance of 2 feet. The event has been labeled as a "terrorist attack" with the "intent to disrupt the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans" by taking down the ARFCOM servers. State congressmen have vowed to get these .50BMG terrorist superweapons off the streets, "for the children."

When questioned about the possibility of a ND, Goatboy rolled his eyes and generally acted innocent, while quickly changing the subject, "how bout them Bears, huh?"

Further investigating is underway.

The thought police told me that ARFCOM never was broken, and also that we are at war with Eurasia, even though I could have sworn a week ago during the ten minutes hate....

It was the pixie dust GoatBoy sprinkled on the servers.  Apparently it was from a load of bad dust from Southeast Asia.

It took the FBI and the ATF at least a week to compile all the data on ARFcom members: postings, pictures of owned weapons, etc...

We know that's a lie.

You'd never spill and waste any beer. [:D]

It wasn't the spilled beer, more like his tongue got caught in the keys when he was trying to recover it.

Goatboy dropped his peanut butter and jelly sandwich on the server, and then knocked his beer in it when he tried to catch it.

I think the ARFCOM staff went on vacation to the Bahamas using our membership fees to cover drinks, chicks, and dinner.  Which, for the record, is okay with me.

[tinfoilhat]I think it was Storm88Front, Nick and Star-Price-Phister, from pre.ban. I also think those are all aliases for that guy who use to log on as einzatstrooper here a while back. His plans backfired when all the arfcomers showed up.[/tinfoilhat]

The truth is that Milsurp/Vic vega kidnapped the hampster (hampster napped??) that powers the server, and used it in some very un-natural ways. All in retaliation for getting the boot.
It took a while to locate and train a replacement.
The FBI and ASPCA are investigating[;D]
