I'm looking for some good books on politics. Any suggestions? I'm not talking about Ann Coulter or Sean Hannity, either. I'm looking for non-partisan and objective insight.

I'd just finished Treason and the Hannity book when I was all burned out on partisan political books.  I really liked the two and the books were great, but you can lose perspective and start questioning things.  It was a good thing Coulter cited every single source at the rear of the book.

Anyway, I started reading political biographies, like "Theodore Rex", because history is a greater teacher than anyone's personal opinion.  I would have to recommend any biography that puts history (and politics) into perspective.

Try some of Bob Woodward's stuff.  Bush at War was pretty good.
