I went originally, but in the first two posts I read, some assclown was calling everyone in the world a keyboard commando and daring them to come to visit him. I guess I've been out of Junior High too long. It didn't appeal to me.

I became concerned that I'd be labeled a "Neo-Con" so I left forthwith. Lots of the main characters over there seem to have their tin foil on too tight. I didn't like it.

I went to Full-Auto for the BOTD stuff but that's it. I'm an arfcom guy.
Although I DID notice some moderator over there hijacked my avatar concept. Only room for ONE Kilgore in this industry goddammit! lol oh wait, I almost forgot I don't give a shit. I'm glad to be back on arfcom though...didn't realize how addicted I was/am. [beer] |

I went over there and posted. It was like when you were a kid and you had to go over to an aunts house, and the house smelled wierd. Not bad really, but the trolls were enough to make me log off several times. Some threads were just crawling with off the wall toll comments. So many that you would forget what the original post was. It's not a bad place. I'll visit there again. It's just no ARFCOM.

There really isn't any difference between the two. ARFCOM has its rude assclowns and PRE-BAN has its rude assclowns. I was only on here for a few hours before it went down (a week ago?)and I found out about Pre-Ban the next day.
I like that Pre-Ban has a "Time out" room for those who insist on posting garbage. While there I noticed Storm88Front, Nick, and Star Phucker seemed to spend a lot of time in both the Assclown and Ring forums. I have not been here long enough to validate the accusations by others in Pre-Ban about how the ARFCOM mods in here are "out of control". Anyway, the short time I've been here I have found it to be a nice place. |

I visited PreBan and then it went down, then went over to Full-auto and registered. Folks there seem a little more excitable than on this site. There was a very long tread that was initiated by a certain former AR15.com member that had something to do with current AR15.com members trying to burn down his house... a real flame fest.

Yeah, I went. I admit it. Once all the smoke cleared and the entire experience was viewed as a whole, I have to say that I enjoyed it to a degree. I prefer it here, this is home. IMHO, there is more weapons/product related info here, more current world/national/regional events info there. The general dicussion forum seemed OK over there as long as you avoided the dominant assclown/coalition/neocon BS. Most of the folks seem pretty decent, but that may have been because most of the ones with something WORTH contributing were actually ARFcom members.
Oh yeah, I got shot (kinda) in the ass during the ARFcom outage. (NOT kidding) Actually, it is more like shrapnel than shot. Don't ask! Missed the twins by an inch. Nothing too serious that I won't recover from, but man, do I feel like Forrest Gump right now. Got an ass full of gauze that has to be pulled out and repacked 2-3 times a day (now I have an inkling of what childbirth must be like!) Hurts like HELL! [pissed] What did you do with your downtime? |

I thought about it, but decided I should actually get work done instead. Besides, I know arfcom isn't perfect, but preban seems to have more than its share of assclowns.
