What are your thoughts on what France would have done during the Irak situation if Le Pen had been elected instead of the worm chirac.

Thrown all the Muslims out of France.  I don't recall LePen ever saying if he figured France should jump in or stay out of the conflict.

Who knows?  French political attitudes are so different from American ones.  Le Pen is supposedly right-wing, but he and his party are just as contemptuous of America as Chirac and his Gaullists are.  Probably even more so.  Le Pen's guys had a celebration at their party HQ on 9/11.  They thought it was great.

Le Pen's party also favors the welfare state, subsidies, state control and regulation and all that.  They just dont want to let the darkies in on the deal.

My guess is that a Le Pen government would have been just as hostile to the invasion of Iraq, if not more so.
