Finally got the chance to take my P10f to the range... only to have my middle son delete the pics off my phone accidentally. But, I'll do my best to report my findings.

This is my 4th P10. I had an original black P10c when they were first introduced, had it a while and shot it a bunch, then sold it so I could buy my P10c Gray. I've shot my Grey even more than my original black one, and they both have been 100% flawless. I have since added another P10c black to my collection.

Enter the P10f.

My first impression is comfort. I find the P10 series guns to be the absolute most comfortable pistols in my hands (I use the small backstrap for my tiny hands) I shot the F back to back with my uncompensated P10c, my compensated P10c, and a G17. My experience has been that the P10's exhibit less muzzle flip than their Glock counterparts, maybe this is engineering, maybe the aggressive grip texture, maybe unicorn farts, I don't know. But it's not just me experiencing this.

My P10's (actually all of my CZ's) have all been accurate guns. But this thing is a laser. Like, encroaching on my Shadow 2 laser. Trigger is pretty good, better out of the box than any of my Glocks for sure.

The F functioned flawlessly for the measly 200 rounds I put through it, although there will be many more in this gun's future.

One last test I performed was to take the F's slice and mount it on a C frame. Fired a couple mags like this flawlessly. Basically 17 slide on 19 frame.

TL:DR CZ polymer pistol is best polymer pistol! I own several Glocks still, but they mostly collect dust these days.

ETA 2. The new reversible mag release is LEGIT. The old ambi can be a bit of a pain, but the new style is nice.

I have a serious hankering for one of the white nitride P10s.

One of those set up with a threaded barrel, proper sights and perhaps a different slide release would be my "ideal" striker fired pistol.

I had heard that they were going to make these in the U.S. going forward.  Is that still a thing?  I do like the P10C.  Prefer black to Gray, though.

I picked up a black P10C with the threaded barrel and suppressor height night sights.  Shoots REAL NICE but kind of wish I would have held off and waited on the optic ready model of the C to come out in a comparable package...

I like CZ's also.  But my main carry gun is a PPQ, the CD P10c, is great but the mag release when ammo is still in the mag is a bit of a PITA.

I noted that on yours.  The standards P10C's are basically being given away right now - under $400.  And for the Threaded/Night Sight versions, $420ish.

I've gotten so used to seeing the P10C version that the full size looks a little weird to me. But it is still a rather handsome pistol, for a polymer frame gun.

I remember all the buzz about these pistols when they first hit the market. I decided at that moment that I must have one of these, as it just seemed CZ had come up with the perfect handgun. I sensed many others felt the same way. That interest seemed to last for a month or two, then just as suddenly as the interest spiked, it also seemed to fade. And I haven't heard a great deal said about the pistol since. Instead of a P10C, I ended up buying another Glock 19. I'm not quite sure I have ever seen as much initial interest in a handgun fade so quickly. And I don't know why that happened. It seems the initial reports were absolutely glowing (see MAC's reviews), then soon after they just became yet another polymer framed pistol.

So, these guns have now been around for a while. How are they performing? What sort of reputation are they establishing? Are they robust? Reliable? Anyone have any idea what percent of the market CZ has managed to occupy with these pistols? Have any LE agencies adopted them yet? I still have an interest in this handgun and will still likely pick one up at some point to evaluate, especially for the price. But I am in need of some sort of justification for bringing another handgun type into my inventory. What does this pistol offer that my current Glock and M&P pistols don't? In order to start moving these in, I would likely need to start moving one of the others out. I just don't need a dozen different types of polymer framed pistols that all do essentially the same thing.

I read quite a few good reviews and that CZ addressed a few issues in revisions to the current pistols.  GarandThumb did a review with a decent amount of rounds through it during his eval.
I liked that you get a good trigger and nice sights as factory options unlike a M&P or a Glock where I know I'd want to do some trigger work and sights - which means another $100-200 on top of the cost of the gun.

I'll go check out GarandThumb's review. It seems the biggest single complaint I've heard about the P10C is the magazine release being ridiculously hard to depress. Hopefully that issue has been addressed. Otherwise, the only other complaint I've heard about in sizable numbers is the stippling, which many say is too rough and abrasive. That one is really no big deal to me. If the grip texture is too rough, one can always smooth it down a bit to suit their needs.

The one key selling point I've heard in favor of the P10C is the trigger. Most people seem to feel it has a superior trigger to that of either the Glock or M&P, though it seems that with production pistols, that opinion has been scaled back just a tad from what was being said when pre-production guns were being tested. I find Glock and M&P triggers (especially on the Shield and m&p 2.0 versions) to be tolerable, but I wouldn't mind an improvement in that department. And it would be nice to have really good sights straight out of the box on a handgun that is over $100 less expensive than a Glock.

OTOH, the two biggest drawbacks I see thus far is the availability of holsters for the P10C and the price of spare magazines. Pretty much every holster design on the market these days has a size to fit the Glock 17/19. The M&P is also well represented. The P10C will have some catching up to do in that area. But if the sales numbers are there, that problem will work itself out in due time. And it does seem magazines for the CZ are a little more expensive on average than Glock mags. But I'm not gonna allow an extra $5 in costs to be a deal breaker.

The new US made ones have been changed to swappable, but not ambi mag releases which are easier to actuate per CZ.  If i put a COMPLETELY FULL mag into mine (with original ambi release) its TOUGH to actuate and drop.  as soon as ONE round is stripped by the action the mag release is fine.

While not the big name high dollar holster makers, I've found an assortment of affordable kydex IWB, OWB, and paddle holsters for the P10C - even some that support mounted lights like my Olight PL Mini.

Grip checkering... the sides are fine.  The front and rear are AGGRESSIVE in my opinion.  BUT as you said, a little high grit sand paper OR an overlay like Talon Grips will tame that.  I'm HOPING that Brooks will offer an AGRIP for the P10C, I LOVED the AGRIP I used on my G19.

I've owned a few Glocks and a few M&Ps.  I would say I find the stock trigger on the P10C to be superior to both.

They are compatible with quite a few Glock 17/19 holsters. Not all of them, but quite a few. Mags are in the mid $30s, not too bad. And the new guns have a reversible mag release, the ambi release is gone.

ETA to add just how good these guns feel in the hand. Can't stress enough how much I love the feel. Stippling is very aggressive but that's what I like. Slide serrations are very positive, and the guns have been boringly reliable for me. You can watch MAC's gauntlet test on the gun on YT, plus others like GarandThumb who have a lot more than the probably 3k rounds I have through mine.

Getting a P-10c as soon as a suppressor AND optic ready combo version is available! They haven’t announced it that I know of but it’s gotta be coming.

It's coming, but it's also CZ USA, so it's equally likely to show up next week, or in 2024
