If you can afford one, get it for her and keep her happy. [i don't know how much they cost]

We were in Sears about a year ago and they were on sale. I have mold allergies and we figured it would be good for cleaning around the shower door. The sales woman actually talked us out of it. She said about half they sell are returned because the performance is so poor. She said it is a good concept but the ones that work well are in the $300+ range. The smaller ones just don't have the steam making capacity to do the job well.

We didn't buy.
