Should I give him the 1-800 number or should I not risk the bodily harm?

Now that's a good reply...

It did not tell me what I wanted, but at least it made me laugh.

Well, to be fair, the other comments made me laugh as well, but that was laughing in disgust.

Ok...you're new, dude...so just FYI, that's a rather touchy topic 'round these parts.

There were several "incidents" involving the hush-hush "M" camo...

Normally we just pretend it doesn't exist.

He is correct.
Let me just add that you should feel free to bash everyone from crippled children to police officers but don't dare mention a new type of BDU. [rolleyes]

We have had lots of MARPAT threads in the past.  infact i think a few people's accounts were locked.  if should be ok to post about marpat now, but chill out.  I would look in the EE or E-bay.  If you have friends in the marines have them get you some.

A guy that lives with my neighbor wears marpat.  He's in the army and just disapears for months at a time. He can have facial hair too. He isn't a marine, so how can he wear the marpat stuff?

You can't get BDU's at the PX/BX, you have to get them at the Uniform Store cause you don't have to have a military ID to get into the PX, but you have to have a valid MID to buy BDU's, insignia and other military issued clothing.

The Command Post in Houston sells Marpat BDUs in woodland and desert that is indistinguishable from the real stuff. Rip-stop, eagle and globe embroidered, and inexpensive. The colors and dead-on.
