Nope, can't think of any good it could do here in the USA.  Military got a raise, Medicare got a boost, No Child Left Behind flooding education with funds, economy is roaring back, so what is not being funded??

America is one of the wealthiest and most generous countries on earth.  IMHO Israel, our friend, deserves support.

That's 9 billion in LOANS so they would pay it back. The good the money would do here is we could give it to crack whores so they could get fertility treatment so they could pump out 3 to 7 babies at a time, have thier tattoos removed so they would have room for more and have before and after school care so they could "work" all day and not have to worry about the 11 children they spawned before they turned 30.

That money has strings attached.  Israel's required to purchase American military hardware with it.  Which gives Americans works and Israel uses to kill Islamic terrorists with.  So it's money well spent, IMO.

As stated, we're giving it to a friend who does mostly stand by us. I'm a tad bit more angry about the 87 Billion that we are spending on a nation that presumably had something to do with taking down the towers and killing a lot of our citizens  along with people from around the world.
 I'm in the camp that believes that we should kick some butt hard enough that no one will ever again receive a directive from Allah to do such a heinous, criminal and stupid act again.
Then we can talk about how they can once again attempt to rejoin the modern world and lend some assistance in getting them built back up.
However it does need to be "downhill" for a while yet, apparently they still have not yet been enlightened.

Why don't we just GIVE them the hardware?

It's a hell of a lot better than the billions that we spent on the geezer votes night before last when we passed the prescription drug bill.

Pull your head out, things are better than the media and DU's would like us to believe that they are. After the Clinton economy bottomed-out during the Bush administration, things are on the comeback trail again. After 8 years of the non-existent Clinton foreign policy, the terrorists again think twice before fvcking with us. And as far as Iraq goes, it was NOT about the stupid oil, we could have just taken that. It was about taking the fight to the terrorists. You haven't heard of an attack on US soil since we started kicking their asses have you?
