CLEVELAND -- Earlier this month, Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich joked during a candidate's forum that a TV network might want to step up and sponsor a search for a potential first lady for him.
The TV networks didn't bite, but a political Web site did. PoliticsNH.com is offering to fly the winner of its "Who wants to be a first lady?" contest to New Hampshire for a date with Kucinich.
And the Ohio congressman has agreed to play along.
More than 80 women entered the contest by the time the Web site's managing editor cut off submissions last week. James Pindell says the entries were overwhelming the site's staff, whose real job is to cover New Hampshire politics.
He says the contest has boosted the site's traffic from 10,000 to 160,000 visitors a day.
Kucinich said he doesn't really have time to date while he campaigns for the Democratic nomination for president.
