Today is a good day for chili. So now I have
the process for you with visual aids.

Ingrediants! Poison peppers.

Chop it up in a blender.

I use 2lbs. of beef and some Jimmy Dean hot sausage.

Cook it with onions for more flavor.

I use Texas Chili mix, but since my chili will
already burn you ass with all the hot peppers,
I only use a little chili powder.
Your ass will thank you later.

Cook and simmer for 40 minutes.

Might as well make it a dinner pick.
It was good to watch the Cowboys win today eating
some good chili.

Isn't that glass a little small considering the amount of hot stuff in there?

Great Minds think alike...

I knew a cold front was coming so I started my Chili & beeans on Tues night. - Starting by soaking the beans.

I cook it long and slow in a huge crockpot set on low, takes a good 40 hours simmering for the spices to completely be absorbed by the beans.

BTW - I did not need a can opener... no cans to open.

Sure looks fine.

All your peppers kind of reminds me of a story my old Dad used to tell me.

Seems a cajun made a pot of really hot chili and then ate some ice cream to cool down his mouth.

The next day, his friend walked by the outhouse and heard the cajun inside saying, "Come on ice cream!"

Pictures are no good. There is no tape measure.

I make a similar chili. I like the addition of the Jimmy Dean sausage. I use the link stuff to add a little variety. I also use Bloody Mary mix and beef broth for my liquid base. MMmmmm chili...

PIctures are just fine, tape measure, etc., are for folks who don't know shit about dinner pics.  There are two items for dinner pics required:

1. Gun
2. Food.

Up in these parts, most people put noodles in chili![banghead] [nono] ughhhh!

My mother in law pours a can of tomato juice in a pot, adds cooked "bow tie" pasta and some ground beef and calls it chili. I refuse to even think about eating it.

My chili consists of crushed tomatoes, ground venison, venison chops diced, scotch bonnet peppers, jalapeno peppers, cumin, garlic, 1/2 bottle of stout (s'posed to full bottle, but I have to taste it to make sure it is of good enough quality)onions, three different types of beans, some chocolate and a dash of cinnamon.

the chocolate and cinnamon ease the burning at first, but then the capsicum kicks in....real hard.

It is the type of chili that is almost too hot to eat, but once you try it, you can't stop eating it.
I make a big batch for my group that gets together each year for an ice fishing party on a local lake. Kind of like a tailgate party on ice.
