Demoncraps = Communisim/Socialism??

I hear the correlation all the time and people linking the two in analogies.
But could someone provide a few talking points and other opinions as to why the Left are more in tine with a Socialist and/or Communists mindset?

The REALLY sad thing is that the Republicans, who ostensibly are on our side, don't seem to be too eager to distiguish themselves as DIFFERENT from the Left, either...

Just look at the communists creed, and then notice how it EXACTLY matches the democrat's philosophy.

That's because that everybody has been brainwashed to keep in mind what is good for society.
And it is just the nature of government.  Where are you going to find a government employee looking for reasons why the government should not be involved in something?  The more involvement his employer has in various projects, the more he can get paid.

I am reading "The First Circle" by Aleksander I. Solzhenitsyn (copyright 1968) now and there is a part where Uncle Joe is making plans and writing memos, etc.  it shows the truth about Communism and its inherent downfall: Solzhenitsyn while being a good communist didn't pull any punches describing how that system can never work.

I was amazed by the similarity of what our modern day demos are propounding to that.  Do they read? Do they care?  Are they just really stupid?

The principal fallacies of Socialism--and of the Left generally--fall into two categories: The first are those that deny the realities of Nature - human interaction.  The second are corollarial to the first and involve deliberate distortion of issues involved in a debate on policy, or in correctly identifying factions in pursuit of power.

In the first category are the basic lies; these fundamentally false assumptions:

1. That those with whom the particular Socialist movement is concerned, comprise a single entity--if not composed of people with equal abilities, at least with people sufficiently plastic or malleable, that they may be improved by intrusive Government or by intrusive neighbors.

2. That those who succeed under Capitalism or "laissez faire," do so by exploiting the poor: By denying others the fruits of their own labor.

3. That virtue is in the numbers who adhere to a movement, and in technology; that increased population and modern technology (improved communication, transportation and weapons) render traditional social values obsolete.

4. That there is no Deity and no enduring truth that need be considered.

The corollarial propositions include:

5. That human equality (Communism) is a rational ultimate ideal; the issue, whether it is practical or whether it may be made practical.

6. That the poverty and harsh working conditions of labor in the days of the Industrial Revolution were both proof of the exploitation assumption (#2), and evidence that "social justice" requires either collective ownership of the means of production, or such regimentation of relevant operations as will collectivize use of the factors of production--as under the "New Deal" and "Great Society" in America and under National Socialism in Germany;--so that they will serve the utilitarian goals of an egalitarian collective, rather than those of private entrepreneurs who take risks in the hope of individual benefit.

7. That the needs of modern Society require that Education be controlled by central authority, not individual families or neighborhood based communities; and that a prime function of Education must be to prepare youth to accept the Social values of a broader collective, even if those values are totally at variance with familial values held sacred for generations.

8. That all individual rights come from a collective, and are neither Natural nor God given.

I'm of the opinion that liberals/democrats/socialists are altruists, and they believe that people are basically good, and will do good if left to their own devices --in a controlled situation.

They believe that poverty, not criminality, causes crime.
They believe that misunderstanding and social programming, not stupidity and hate, causes racism.
They believe that inequality and the corruption of big business, not ambition and hard work, cause some to succeed where others fail.

This altruistic, people-are-basically-good viewpoint suffers quite a bit though when those people work for themselves (own businesses) rather than work for the state or someone else. A man who gambles everything he has on an idea and his ability to make it work is an exploiter because he does not share equally with his employees the rewards of his business, even though the employees are contributing only hourly labor toward success or failure, while the business owner risks his entire investment in capital and time.

Liberals/democrats/socialists believe that it would be much better for all --equality of results, not merely equality of opportunity-- if the state more rigidly controlled how a business owner can run a business, or completely took away the opportunity for anyone but the state to own a business.

They tout the idea of a state mandated "living wage," saying --correctly-- that you can't raise a family on the minimum wage. The notion that you shouldn't have a family if you can't afford one is incomprehensible to them, while it is simple economics to conservatives.

The demoncrats/socialists wouldn't get past square one without our population voting for them.  They've been very successful dumbing our population down.  The media is a willing accomplice.  Everything the demoncrats/socialists are for, so is our population.  That's why you can't tell the difference between the parties.  Picture the Republicans going public with "we can't afford Medicare, Social Security, welfare and the rest of the give-a-ways".  Face the facts, most of the sheeple in this country are dumb idiots.  From the geezers to the union workers.  All have been brainwashed.  They did it incrementally so do we.  This isn't rocket science.

Dem's more inclined to be dupes but let's face it, most politicians end up being an embarassment trying to make semi-socialism work or trying to eradicate it.

Actually democraps are equal to fascists.  There philosophy is very close to Italy and Germany's in the 1930's.  Socialism is just an economic system.  Facism is economics and government together.  

Short form- Facism believes in private property rights but HEAVILY regulated by the government.
In fact practically everything is regulated by the government with a reverance towards the government replacing religon.

Had a flashback to a local news station broadcast a few weeks ago.  The weather guy and the anchors were bantering back and forth.  The weatherman asked the anchors what the freezing and boiling points of water were.

I'm not making this up, the female anchor made what was obviously a WAG on the freezing point (and squealed like a teenager when she got it right) but didn't have a fucking clue what the boiling point of water was.

My GF was in shock.  She generally agrees with my worldview but she thinks that I should give the benefit of the doubt to people more.  As I'm screaming at the set about this dumb bunny my GF is speechless coming to terms with the fact that a grown adult doesn't know water boils at 212F.

95% of so-called reporters/journalists fall into this category as far as I can tell.  That is dumber than a box of rocks but they look good, have authoritative voices and people think that because they are on TV they know what they are talking about.  The old “I saw it on TV so it MUST be true” crap.  The fact that an overwhelming majority of reporters are Democrats simply stacks the deck further

Media, willingly at times and just on general principal supports the socialist views over more conservative ones.  It's pretty black and white to those that THINK.  To those that "feel" they have no clue how pervasive the slant is.

Airwolf - One of my neighbors told me she conducted an informal 'outside-the-grocery-store' survey to see what people knew about the weight of water.  Most people guessed between two and four pounds per gallon.
I knew it was around 8 pounds per gallon.  Neighbor said it is 8.3.
I then educated my neighbor on how jet fuel is measured, just as a tangent.
