Not the Dominican Republic.  My father just took a job there and I was thinking of taking the girlfriend there for a vacation.  Anyone been there?  Opinions?  Advice for someone who's going there?

I lived there in '73, or '74, for about 7-8 months. I'm sure it's different. The people were among the friendliest in the islands, that's prolly changed too...

I had a private house, but hung out at the Fort Young hotel, by the pool. Have a rum punch for me while in Rouseau...
