Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What do you think of Calico weapons?

I was looking into buying a 9mm carbine just for plinking , and I have a chance to get a preban Calico with a sliding stock , 1 100rd mag & 1 50 rd mag for 700 bucks. Is that a good price & do these guns work reliably? Its got a scope mount & a removable forgrip with it also.

I had one for a couple years. Put less than 1000 rounds through it. It never jammed or malfunctioned.

I sold it through a gun store. The guy that bought it shot it once and it blew up.
