Here's an interesting documentary I stumbled upon a out the life and mercenary service of Rafal Ganowicz fighting against communist uprisings. I believe it's from the early 90s.  His first few sentences are quite prophetic.

I just finished it.  It's well worth your time.  Quite a few of his statements struck parallels with current happenings.
