She will definitely be spoiled. I have already told my daughter that I will spoil my granddaughter as much as her grandmother spoiled her.
I think one of the best things about this is that my daughter told me she wants to be the same kind of mother as I am. And on the way to visit my daughter yesterday, my 17 year old daughter told me what a good mother I am and thanked me for being so strict. She told me that she and her sister had talked about my being strict and said sometimes they hated me for not letting them do as they wanted. But now they really appreciate it because their friends were not as fortunate. Their parents did not care about anything they did. This made all the heartache and headaches they cause in the past few years worth it. |

Grandchildren were so much better than children, it's such a shame we can't skip that generation! Of course, you might not be referred to as 'Granny'! You will be referred to as whatever your first grandchild decides to call you, even if it's 'Poo'! And the whole family will soon start calling you by that name! Thankfully, I am 'Granddaddy'! Whew! My grandparents were 'GeePa' and 'GeeMa', just because my older sister called them that! Eric The(Lucky)Hun
