I just ran across this... I remember hearing about him having a frankenrifle like all us knockaround guys, and here's a video of him talking about it... pretty cool..
Kris 'Tanto' Paronto Has Used the Same 'Frankenstein' AR Since 2005 |

Lol i have the exact setup other than that poop stock.
I love surefire rails and ggg buis. |
|
But I've been led to believe you will die instantly without a KAC or similar

I still want a pic looking through the Aimpoint. It looks like the FSP or FSB would block the dot with the mount he has.

Lol, no. Red dot, both eyes open, look at the target, squeeze trigger, repeat as needed. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Correct. If I remember correctly he said the gun has pretty much remained the same but was a fan of those stocks and changed it out. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

INB4 a new segment of the AR world is created: Paronto clones.

I like that stock but its almost the price of a lower end AR today.

I am sure some true operators will be along shortly to tell him where he is wrong

BULLSHIT!
Without a two point sling that single point would have failed long before 14K of rounds outbound. Get real. Never rely on a single point when there are so many points available lol Quoted:

Good interview where he talks about what happened in Benghazi(pulls no punches on all the suit's lies) and a bit of his history, book/movie and all that... seems like a regular dude you could share a brew-ha with... and yeah, he's wearing that Maxim Defense shirt through the whole thing..

Are you saying the dot is not obscured or are you saying he uses it as an occluded sight? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

meh, not so much the case. its one thing to have the housing as a ghost image but i’d prefer to have a less cluttered view. probably why lower 1/3 mounts are so popular. he just ran what he had, doesnt mean its right. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If you are sighting through it, all peepy eyed like a conventional magnified optic, you will see the FSP as a ghost, but if that is how you are using a red dot, you should just put a magnified optic on. |

I had a bullet-proof M-forgery at that time too...great little shooter, and very accurate for a shorter rifle.

What’s the story with 88 Tactical?
Seems like an easy leap for some libtard to associate them with the Neo-nazis. |

Tragically he won't be able to train with that rifle at Valor Ridge.

Quoted: I'm saying the FSP is not a problem on that gun or 2.8 gazillion others just like it. Take that any way you want to. but the FSP is not a problem. View Quote Quoted: If you are seeing the FSP while using a red dot, you are doing it wrong. Unless you lack stereoscopic vision, you shouldn't be seeing anything other than the target with a dot on it.
