If you are wanting to use lighter bullets, such as a .223 40 gr. bullet, what would be a good twist rate to have in your barrel?

Imbrog probably has more womenz then he lets on.

I like 1/9 because it's great for 55 gr. and can handle up to 69 gr. Federal Gold Match and probably as low as 50 gr. varmit rounds. If I need extreme accuracy with 40 gr. bullets I would consider 1/12 or slower. In that case, I would go with a bolt gun.

This would be correct. I tried shooting 40gr out of a 1/7 and the bullets would come apart before they hit the target
