If you have ever visited the PSA subforum, you probably have come across @GamecockOperator.  Steve is a huge fan of PSA, and many of the stickied threads are ones he started.  He has been an ardent defender of PSA, sometimes even a little too much.  For the past few months, Steve has been having health issues, and has required walking with a cane even though he is only 42.   After countless doctor visits, trips to the ER, etc., Steve finally saw a new doc that gave him not so great news. Three weeks ago, he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer.

He is currently at Lexington Medical Center, where he is undergoing treatment.  His hospital stay was supposed to be just a week, but yesterday marked the beginning of week 3.  Several of us arfcommers have been keeping tabs on him.  Prayers and visits are one thing, but the financial burden of cancer treatment is another.

Amazingly enough, PSA jumped in and wanted to help. They have graciously provided not one, but two firearms as prizes for a fundraiser.

First up is a PSA 1911, in all stainless. This is their Stainless Premium model.



Next up, and the grand prize, is a custom built PSA AR-15:



It features a Seekins comp, 15" Odin rail, FN CHF barrel, Enhanced Polished Trigger, Nickel Boron BCG, Magpul CTR stock, MOE grip, and Vortex AR Sparc.

Rules are as follows:
1) each ticket is $25, unlimited in the number you can buy.
2) winner of each firearm will work with PSA to ensure a legal transfer, all FFL rules apply.
3) if the winner is in a ban state and cannot receive the rifle I will personally get you a PSA gift card for at least $100 ( I will work with the winner and PSA if this is the case)
4) drawing will be held the evening of Monday, June 11.
5) each firearm is a separate drawing.
6) I am ineligible, as is GCO.

Thank you for what you are doing! The AR pictured is the actual one being given away.

The 1911 shown is a demo gun, so it has a few scratches. I will be sending d16man a picture of the identical gun, just not a demo one by Wednesday. With it being Memorial day, I could not get a picture of one that was untouched.  The warehouse was locked up! The one that we take a picture of and have up by Wednesday will be the ACTUAL one being given away. Again, same model as pictured, just no marks!
