It would take awhile to explain but this is something I've studied in detail.

When this video was first posted on this site I looked into it. The inventor created this for several reasons, a big one being the out of control suicide rate in Japan. After everything I have read about these cultures I'm kinda surprised their suicide rate isn't higher.

To me what it comes down to is, especially in developed eastern countries. The prevalent culture expects you to work like a frigging dog, why?

Well, as time goes by there is simply less and less incentive to do... Anything really. One day you wake up and realize that your life is just work, or if you have the $$$ you get to have a family who doesn't like you very much.

No one likes being somewhere they don't feel welcome. I can certainly understand the efforts of technologies like this to make people feel more welcome.

All I have to say is this, it’s mainly from failing to come to terms with reality. And getting your ass handed to you and being made into a bitch when your society was based on honor doesn’t help.
