I would also like to add that at all the games I've been to in person and the games I've seen on TV, I haven't seen one Viking kneel for the anthem.
There's a lot of stand up guys on this team. |

The Vikings have an offense with many players who, at the beginning of the season, were not thought of as starters, and probably wouldn't be starters elsewhere. The defense was known to be strong, but not the dominant squad they've become. Evidence of this is the fact they only have 4 players in the pro bowl, 3 D and Theilen on offense. We're still hearing the commentators on TV amazed at Keenum's play this year, just waiting for him to really screw up. |

In for the eventual choke and failure... I love the Vikes but they always choke right at the moment of victory. No true Vikings fan would think otherwise. Keenum has been a gift from the heavens.. maybe it's meant to be. I have my old Vikings brick ready... but I haven't had to use it much this season.

I'm a cheesehead. But I'm rooting for the Vikings. None of them ever took a knee this year, or raised a fist in protest, which says a lot in my book. Not even the Packers can claim that (and you're damned right I sent a nasty letter to the team about it. Pissed me off.

I'm 55, hate long walks on the beach, and a life-long Vikings supporter. Originally from Minnesota farm country I've followed Vikings since about the age of 9...
Didn't see the KC loss at the SB (1970) but did endure the other appearances. Should they advance this year I will go for a nice long hike on SB Sunday in an effort to turn the tide. Skol, Vikings. |
