ETA2: Update: Got it today, BH date code 100% German made. After adding some oil to the bone dry trigger components trigger is actually pretty damned good for brand new. Overall I'm a happy camper!!!
ETA: bought one $596 shipped https://grabagun.com/hk-p30-9mm-3-86-bl-da-sa-dl-2-15rd.html So apparently HK has permanently cut the price of P30s to $588 from high $800-$900. You can get them for about $588 shipped now... https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/M730903-A5?mobile=true might have to pick pick one up for AIWB! |
|
Very fair price right there... 900 was what the gun was worth, but too high, if that makes sense.
ETA: I'd jump back on that train if they eliminated the "trough" in the trigger guard. |

Over on hkpro fanboys are crying that's its hurting the resale value and the EE is blowing up with people whining with PMs of "these are $588 new!" lol View Quote |

Glad they finally publicly announced, I've been super excited about it.

It makes sense in that their P30sk and VP9sk and VP9 are all the same price (or within 20 or so bucks).
ETA: As a confirmed "Glock Guy" the P30 is probably the finest gun on the market. Period. Personally make mine a TLG 4.1. Its nice to see everyone getting serious and producing some real interesting stuff (and lowering prices on good stuff). |

Bummer, I paid $600 for one over the summer
Oh well, I got my 4 free mags. |
|
|
|
|
I said it in the past, but HK must enjoying the sales from the cheaper VP9. I suppose they're wanting to gain more market share. And I also assume mag prices will be kept high, but nice development. Any drops for USP 9mms?
|
|
I'm in for a LEM at that price but here in WI they will never get to that price.

Getting wood at the thought of getting an hk45c lem for a reasonable price

I here you brother, i'm thinking about transfer fees at $50.00 to $62.00 for a pistol here.

So H&K lowers their price and Glock raises theirs..... Interdasting......

Well I'm glad I sold my P30L for $750 two months ago. (Which I bought in 2011 for $750)
PS I feel mags are dropping too. A couple of years ago I couldn't find mags for my HK45 for under $50. Now they are around $32-$34 all over the place. With aftermarket ones for $14. |

Interesting. I got my p 30 in early December.
Bought a usp45c today. Looks like I'll be entering the HK45 market sooner than expected. As a big HK fanboy, with 5 of them now, I'm glad of this. Once all the glockfags get their hands on a real gun, I'll no longer have to hear about glockshit. Also , I don't sell guns , so resale is not an issue. |

I'm not shopping, but I have a sudden interest in both the HK45 and HK45C in LEM.
And after I told myself NO MORE GUNS. |

I came away impressed with HKs CS (when Sam Bass was running things) when I sent in my HK45C for work. And come to think of it I didn’t care for how GLOCK handled my request for service when I found pitting in the chamber of my G19 (they told me I had to pay to ship it for inspection). |

Well I wonder how this will trickle down to shops that already have P30's in their inventory? I'm no economist, but wouldn't that eat the propecrive profit the store has into the gun they have on hand? I ask beacuse I saw a P30 at the LGS and they had it marked over $900. Now do they try to keep that price or mark it down now that it's known HK is slashing the prices to distributors? I used to work in a gun shop and I never experienced something like this.

I'm hoping too; a USPc 9 is on my list of guns I'd like to take on my next boat trip.
