I admit that I once talked to a Russian on the internet, maybe that was it?

I'm a little too tall to be mistaken for a North Korean, so thats not it... Any guesses guys?

I took a short video on my iPotato 0.1 just before he left, some small screencaps shown below (have more, but this is all I'm uploading for now):

Normal Blackhawks can't refuel in the air.

Probably a training exercise going on.

Where do you live?  Somewhere in the Tucson Area, by chance???

IF SO, it's NOT TF160, it's AF (Air Force-HH-60).  305th RQS, or the active duty squadron, most likely....

You might have a "HOT NEIGHBOR" laying out by her swimming pool.....

Or, RUN AND HIDE TONIGHT......

They do that over my back yard once a month. Seems dangerous, but I think I am on the training route for air national guard unit.

Sweet.

Oh wait, a GD response would be "Fly your drone into it because it cant fly lower than 400'"

One of your neighbors is probably a wife/girlfriend/parent/friend of one of the pilots.

I may or may not visit ACP Homestead on occasion when it's on my route of flight.

Drone or helo hovering above my house spying on me. Doesn't make a difference. I'm shooting it out of the sky.

Well, I'm still here, looks like they decided to let me live for now . At first glance I thought it was CBP, since I am in Tucson, but it definitely is not.

I could certainly be wrong, but I thought they were the only ones who operated this type of MH-60M with the refueling probe and this particular sensor package. See here:

You could definitely be right! But, yes, I'll lay low for now, haha.

Oh, and no, I do NOT own a freaking drone... but maybe one of my neighbors does, and he flew it a little too close to DMAFB? Hunting for rogue DJI operators? The M-134 would do the trick

Seriously though, that incident over Staten Island was not cool at all.

  • Doesn't the USAF  run exercises for their Para-Rescuemen (PJs-Pedros) and Combat Controllers (CCTs) in NM or AZ, operating out of Kirtland AFB NM and Davis-Monthan in AZ?

Question for those who think it was a Pave Hawk: Aren't they invariably painted grey? This helo was black.

Also, the round sensor on its nose looks like what you see on a MH-60M (and I don't see that on the Pave Hawks.) Is that the radar? I believe these have TFR.. I don't know, but I'm guessing the FLIR/etc is in the pod below.

Welp, if you guys never hear from me again... then that means the whole "black helicopters" thing really is the real deal. They're probably just waiting for nightfall...  So, whatever you do, do NOT take pictures of them, and definitely do NOT buy that shiny new DJI drone you saw on sale!! Don't say I didn't warn you
