Mine is Zac Brown Band. Holy shit his music is amazing on so many levels.
He blends so many styles and themes it makes amazing music. There is a song for every mood I am in. Lately, it's been this one. My Great White Buffalo, well, I saw Goodbye in her Eyes. Zac Brown Band - Goodbye In Her Eyes (Official Music Video) | Uncaged |

Beck mirrors my existence from my collegiate years to being a husband and parent.
I totally relate to most of his songs |

Dan Baird. His first two solo albums could have been written about people I knew personally including me. White trash/redneck rocka rollers with big dreams that amount to zilch.

Neil must have had my picture on the wall when he wrote Subdivisions. It was spot on for my life at the time (and of course for millions of other teenagers).

I was with a girl for about five years and she meant the world to me. I wanted badly for things to work out between us but no matter how many we times tried, it always failed. I loved her enormously but I knew we weren't good for each other. I listened to this a lot before finally ending things. I'll still think of her when this comes on the radio.

I've had numerous, numerous songs that captured a moment or feeling in life perfectly, and I'm sure many I've forgotten by now. I could probably spend the entire day cluttering up this thread with youtube links. But so far, no one has quite captured my emotions as completely as La Dispute. A number of songs off of "Wildlife" really hit close to home, so I'll just toss that one out, but "Somewhere at the Bottom of the River" is also an amazing album.
