As we all know, photobucket went to crap and I now need to use another service.  I'm trying imgur, but I'm having trouble using it.  I have an account, but don't know how to get the photos from my phone to my account and access them from my pc.  I have the app and it will upload photos, but I don't know where they're going.  The app isn't requiring or asking me to login.  When I upload, I can't access the photos from my pc...Help please..

I have found imgur to be irksome on mobile.  I've mostly figured out how to sign in a b d add to an album but it takes me three or four tries to post a pic rather than a link or broken pic.

Dont know about desktop.

Going to cut down a lot of stuff.

Upload to your PC from your phone.  Then use imgoat (donate cause imgur is antifa//sjw shite).   https://imgoat.com/
EXIF DATA IS AUTOMATICALLY REMOVED

Then use that.

ETA- reverse the process and you do not even need an account unless things have changed, and it has.  USB from phone into PC, load into PC, whatever file you dropped your photos into your PC, then drag and drop into either services.  Make sure your exif data is deleted which is why I prefer imgoat.

And I'm just the opposite, I find Imgur to be quite easy to use on a mobile device.

I can upload pics from my phone to Imgur, and then post them on the net without any issues.

Well then what am l doing wrong?

It looks like a picture based social media site when l go to it.  And then l sign in and try to up load,  and have to remember to choose "private" rather than public viewing.

And trying to figure out how to come up with a functioning pic.

I Phone, Android, whatever.  Connection to your PC and whatever cable connects to your phone.

Find where you put your photos on your PC

Then delete EXIF data

Then drag and drop from PC into stated services.

ETA- Again, imgoat removes the EXIF stuff, but do it yourself anyways.

I use the phone app to upload photos and it's great. Where do I then find the link to copy and paste here for a picture?

I can find it on a desktop but not on the app.

Pic your picture, tap on it, and a little arrow will come up at the bottom of your screen.

Tap on the arrow and select "Copy Link" then you can download it to whatever social media you want.

That's the hyper link that people have to click.

How do you get the img tag?

Going from Photobucket to Imgur I found it a little tricky at first but once you figure it out its much easier to use IMO.
