Buddy at work got and old 32 revolver from his dad. And asked me to help ID it. Swing out cylinder 32 . Which doesn't narrow it down. Looks like an old h&r or iver. But the plastic  grips have a brand insignia? Maybe what looks like a target with 5 shots put in it  barrel is also slim round and tappers narrow at the muzzle.  And is black not nickel chrome. It's a long shot but any help would be appreciated

Maybe an old 32 Smith and Wesson?  Pictures and any writing would help a lot here!  You are not giving us much to work with here.

H&R but most of the ones with grips with the square with a target in it were top-breaks though there could have been over-lap with the early swing-out cylinder models as they had the same grip style.

This one has the same type grips but it's a drop cylinder.

It's definitely an H&R  has zero markings except the serial on the butt. Looks like the swing out above. But with a round barrel

Yep...   they made a later model...

Pretty sure you will find it by searing H&R .32 on Gunbroker.

The logo your describing sounds like the H&R logo. H&R made at least two series of swing-out .32 caliber revolvers.
