I don't care if Fiat or Chrysler get bought by the Chinese, but Jeep? That would be unjust. Somethings are American and need to stay American.

The purchase of these iconic American brands by Chinese companies is a sign of how weak our economy is getting, and how much of a burden our safety and emissions standards are on modern cars, IMO.
I don't know enough to back that up... it's just a feeling I have. Consider this: the CHINESE are able to buy new Hummer H1's/HMMWVs. We in the USA do NOT have the freedom to. |
