I hope so. He was denied a jury trial since the gov't knew they couldn't get a conviction. The bench trial circus was a message to those trying to stop the invasion of our country.

Class 1 misdemeanor- A class 1 misdemeanor is the most serious misdemeanor offense and is punishable by up to 6 months in jail, 3 years of probation and a $2,500 fine plus surcharges. Most likely result given his age and length of civil service would be probation and a possible fine. |

In Pima County the USBP used to have a roving patrol van that would be on scene within minutes to question and detain any illegal stopped by the local authorities. Oturd put a stop to that.
