three years into a divorce. lived in the same apartment those three years. just signed a new lease. i'm tired of plain beige walls.except some family pictures.
I'd appreciate some input on reasonably priced sources for wall art. no velvet or dogs playing cards please. |

http://i.imgur.com/zglpLti.gif How about a giant Japanese Gyotaku fish imprint of one you've caught. These are actually printed off of real fish. It's very impressive, especially in large scale. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SnLJ-9yPM6o/TVnaQ2WC2vI/AAAAAAAAABY/Y_E1_T9tJrk/s1600/aloha+salad.jpg View Quote |

Some nice portraits of military men. (I know someone also mentioned him, but this was particularly "masculine"!) http://i63.tinypic.com/25qeyvr.jpg View Quote |

I wouldn't use the word masculine for those. More like homoerotic. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I've got geological maps of my county and state; 19th century maps; 19th century photos; 19th century newspapers; stuff painted by Tibetan monks; stuff painted by my grandmother; my grandfather's naval certificates: equatorial and polar crossings; my own photos; furniture made from surplus military crates; furniture made from soviet rifle crates; you name it. Hell, my ex came by to pick up the last of my stuff and commented that she like the Soviet coffee table - she actually tried to get some of my personal art and post-separation art in the divorce - judge was not amused.
Go to the Library of Congress map collection and find a map that speaks to you. I have some WWII situation maps that I'm going to start rotating in, some Normandy maps in particular; and a slightly scaled model of Jackson's 8 foot long map of the Shenandoah that I need to put up. Any graphics arts place can print these things up, and since they are LOC archives, there's no copyright problem. |

Renata is a woman. from her perspective they are ideally masculine. Just playing the mathematical odds. So, since your are not sexually attracted to the picture, it's just the ideal representation of masculine males according to Renata. but I do think you are right, The artist does represent the male love of the anal sort in that art. |

I'm a big fan of maps and I take pictures on hikes and have them printed on canvas.
