No concrete wall clearing. Ran through set of tension cables. Its a derp setup from the 80's that's worked fine until two recent morons decided to use gas pedals instead of brakes.

I was around when the first idiot drove off the same garage. When this one happened I just knew there would be a lawsuit.

ETA: In fact, I used to park in that garage. I'm in the one adjacent to it now. Not sure how I made it a year without flying off of it.

seems the city issued them a code violation for the cables not working properly.

I hate FSA, but this may be a righteous suit if they didn't comply with code after being warned.

Yeah, the story is written as if no one was driving the BMW, until you get to the very end.
The car didn't just "fall" off the parking garage, it was "DRIVEN" off the parking garage.

I would think it would matter how fast she was moving when she hit the cables; i.e. if she exceeded even the code specs, then oh well. Also, where do we draw the line? Sometimes people have accidents and do stupid things, but the fault is theirs.
