Tempting, very tempting. But I'm going to need you to refrain from posting stuff like this. It's an attempt by you to help PSA assault my wallet.

That's  $24k/yr of after tax dollars. Factor in work clothes, vehicle depreciation,  fuel, parking, lunches, etc ...

I've watched many families do the math and realize that mommy was working to keep the kids in day care. Cost neutral to convert to stay at home, or close enough that it's not worth being apart from the kids.

I still never thought I'd see nib AR10s for $460.

Lucky for us mommy works from home so our 2yr old only goes to daycare a few days a week for half days.  Once the new one is here in January he may go a bit more.  Currently we are only spending about 6k a year on daycare.  When the new baby turns 1 it will likely also go a few days a week, so probably bump our cost up to 12k a year.  Not a big enough cost to have my wife quit working.  Once we have number 3 she likely will.  My gun budget is gonna be pretty slim the next several years

Shit, I just bought a boat, a PSA ak, a revolver, and can't afford an ar10.

I've got the first gen equivalent of that and it cost me $200 more....

And they have the 18" with a free float rail....for only $100 more....

And I'm all set with 2 ARs in 308 already.....

But it still tempting me....

Some of the daycare costs you guys post are insane.  I have 2 kids, ages 2 and 7.  We pay $200/week at a professional childcare center....not a home daycare.  That's $10,400 year.

PSA is not a bad little rifle

finished this one this week at just over $400.

Only part that isn't PSA is the 80% lower and the Colt carry handle.

Yea we did that math a long time ago.

Let the wife stay at home so she has time to take care of the kids, exercise and be fully rested and naked when I come to bed.

A happy rested wife equals more blowjobs and sex.

So far so good after 19yrs.

My only question is wtf is up with PSA's 308s and midlength gas systems?  If you're gonna get a longer barrel anyway, isn't rifle length just fucking obvious?

Seems they have a dozen midlength 308s for every rifle length I see in their daily deals sales pages

Bass pro is getting ready to have their fall hunting classic , I go the local ad for it and they will have .22lr @ 5cents per round. Granted they are remington golden buckets with the 3,000 rounds but I haven't seen those prices in a long time. They have plenty in stock too. Thankfully I stacked deep and the .22 epidemic didn't phase me too much but it is nice being able to replace what you shoot and not pay traded prices.

I'm considering going that route. I have a pa10, I paid a lot more for it than 460. But it wears a Ranier barrel and SLR rail. Still, 460 is fantastic for an ar10. I bet they are fine.
