I bet the Sig owners here that have been giving Glock owners such a hard time lately are now regretting doing so.

I dont have a sig, but how does a glock respond to the same "test"?

Looks like the trigger is not even moving....  the may be a more complex issue than previously thought.....

I own a sig p228 and a Glock 19.  They're both great.   That being said.  The army should go with Glock.

It won't fire because Glock is partially tension while P320 is full tension.

I still like my 320

Wow.

I had so idea. This is really bad.

I played with a P320 at the gun store and decided the trigger was frighteningly light for a gun without any safety, and not I am thrilled at that decision.

just tried it with a G19, took 30 full on blows with no affect.

not real scientific, but its a start....  wish I had a 320 now to compare to.....

High speed guys did choose Glock. The fact that they announced that the frame and slide need to be reworked on the 320 says it all.

I saw a thread a couple days ago full of posters saying the danger of the 320 was all bullshit.

I wonder what they have to say now.

It won't fire. The FP spring in the glock isn't under enough tension.

Whats funny is sig lickers said glock didn't have an R&D department because the put out the same old shit with a safety.

Its physically impossible for a Glock to fire without pulling the trigger. The trigger safety has to be depressed so it will travel upward and unblock the firing pin safety. And the trigger wont move backward when dropped as passive safety will lock it.

At the end of the day, the P320 is nothing but a glorified P250, which received much fanfare and many contracts, until its issues also became apparent.

SIG does not make great guns as a rule anymore, there was a time where they were built in Germany, had pinned in breech-blocks and worked extremely well and were very accurate.

That time is long since passed, SIG's QC problems are spread into the P2xx line now.

If you want something that will go "To Hell and Back" buy an hammer fired HK or Glock.

Not at all. The reasons I won't buy glock are because I don't don't shoot them well, and Gaston is a scumbag. I shoot the 320 very well, and like the modular concept. BTW, it's my one and only sig. I'll send my gun in and see what happens. If I get it back and don't like it I'll buy a shield or another 1911.

I have Sigs and Glocks, carried both for work.  In 20 years slinging a gun, I have never dropped a pistol, nor hit one with a hammer.  I'll be very careful with my 320 I guess.

However I like Sig and have been saddened by what it has become and and cautiously hopeful this might sink Cohen

So Sig can make serious grim German tools again instead of sticker and paint job special editions of questionable quality for flat bill bro dozer drivers .

Not really.  The rabid, douchey Glock people are only that way due to the hordes of fucking 1911 mouthbreathers that infest this place.
Beating up on those sad bastards is pretty much passe' for the Glockers.  I guess that they've heard so much shit from the retards, that
they feel better trying to beat up on some Sig people for a change.   BTW, fucking wake me in 30 or 40 years when the number of people shot accidentally
by SIGs when dropped equals the number of people accidentally shot by Glocks when taking the fucking things apart.

Beat by 12 seconds.

Anyway, small pistol primers are pretty loud.

I found few primers on my bench a while back, though I was 99 percent sure they were SPP, I'd rather be safe than sorry.  So I went outside smashed them with a hammer.  Quite entertaining.
