We were originally from East New York and sold the building we owned in the early '80's. This movie looks like an improvement over the real thing.

OK, so it's supposed to be martial law? I didn't see a single soldier in that video preview enforcing the "martial law." I didn't see any military aircraft or military vehicles either. I didn't even see any military personnel. Who's supposedly enforcing the martial law? I didn't even see any police enforcing the "martial law" in this preview or even in this video. What's missing here? Looks like a low budget B movie. Although, having Dave Bautista as the protagonist is a +. Probably wait for cable to see it rather than risk $10.

These guys had a machine shop to manufacture weapons and booby traps and were given over a week to conceive these weapons by government officials who held back any response.

For those of you who haven't been to NYC in awhile, Bushwick is no longer a desolate ghetto. It's been rapidly gentrified by hipsters and SJW types, and is now the main hub of the "New Brooklyn"
This movie gives them everything they want. The people Taking to the streets to smack conservatives in the face with a bat in the name of peace and love, for the privileged white newjacks to be accepted and revered by the local minorities, to have a hipster girl become a militant revolutionary leader, to show that the cities are actually tougher than those rednecks expected, and the perfect excuse to outright kill red staters (but that's ok because they're not really people, like zombies or nazis). I really hope the finale is Lena Dunham parachuting into the enemy camp to engage Ted Cruz in hand to hand combat. |
