If someone doesn't own a .308 should seem almost irresistible.

If I weren't in CA I'd buy one off principal.

I'd probably Fo if I didn't just order the Larue 6.5 Grendel deal.

I have the DickMod version. They sent it to me with the wrong spring in it. They promptly shipped me the right spring.

Works well.

I don't like the upper and lower slop. I found a rear pin that removes 3/4 of the slop in it. For what you get, you're getting a damn good rifle.

FYI... clean the barrel properly before you fire it. It's pretty nasty. One boresnake trip down the bore and it looked GREAT. I ran some patches through it after that and it was good to go. My RRA LAR8 had 40 failures in the first 100 rds while trying to break it in. My PA10... ZERO.

If they make another batch of Gen 1's I may have to pick up one more. Their new one the PX10 looks pretty good as well.

I'm only seeing an upper for $399, or a complete rifle for $699.

do not shoot 308 in an 7.62 rifle. You CAN shoot 7.62 in a 308 rifle. It is the EXACT OPPOSITE of the 5.56/.223 rules.

You can shoot 308 in a 7.62 chamber, as long as your chamber is within 308 headspace

I've owned 5 different AR10s/LR-308s/LR-260s.

I kept one custom GAP LR-260 and don't shoot it.

I have oodles of 6.5 Grendel now, with more in the works.

I wish I could take my Bartlein .260 Rem pipe and put it in a small frame receiver set made under one roof by a reputable company with no employees that will ruin the rifle during the manufacturing/assembly process.

PSA is shedding these so they can sell their new PX-10 small frame, which has receivers that look exactly like a DPMS GII.

I just can't stay invested in the large frame ARs at this time for several reasons, weight and bulk being the most significant ones.

The way the AR10 was supposed to be made back in 1959 is where we should have been long ago.

Get a foam ear plug and place it in the rear pocket of the lower and all the slop goes away. It's how a "fixed" mine

I have two PA10 gen 2's and have never had a failure.  Only a few hundred rounds through the most used, so not a huge test by any means.  I also have used some PA10 lowers on the Alexandria Pro-Fab cheapie 308 uppers from AIM and they worked fine as well.

Unfortunate fact: all of my PSA guns have been more reliable than my Gen 4 Glock 26.

Okay, I'm sure I am just missing it, but can anyone tell me if the lower works with Magpul mags? I know some AR-10s don't, or at least that used to be the case... Feel stupid asking but its 2am and I should already be asleep.

Mine gave me fits the first trip to the range, fail to feed, single shots.  I was using cheapie ZQM ammo.  After I cleaned and LUBED THE BOLT INTERNALLY   it worked fantastically ever since.  So don't assume it's ready to shoot out of the box like I did.  I consider that a user error and not a true issue with the rifle.
