Such great customer service.  I can't answer your emails because I'm so busy answering emails.

And talking about my new Larue builds.

Hate to see this happen but it sure makes me glad I never sent my beater deagle in for a cerakote job (the shipping would have been killer anyway).

Isn't the owner that guy that said he shot those suspiciously benchrest tiny groups out of a super short barrel for the MOA all day challenge?

I think burnout should be the least of your concerns if you have more business than you can handle, and two of your four employees are part time...

Hopefully they can get it back in gear.

I'm in. Thanks for getting on this Aimless! It's crazy to me how many people have been jacked around by this outfit. On top of the crap customer service, their work is marginal at best. They certainly didn't do a good job on my rifle.

It's also laughable they post about how hard they are working, and then turn around and say they're out of office for Triggercon. Good call there, I'm sure everyone waiting on their parts is happy you had a good time.

I wasn't aware of this shitshow before now.  Looked through their ind forum, and I'm pretty sure that even if they got caught up, I'd never give them business.  Too many direct lies to customers when they ask about their orders.

We are done with them. I don't understand why you would give away "free" stuff when you are severely back logged.

They never did get the Rtic tumblers out, that was part of their initial "30% off, Free Shipping" promo around the first of the year.

My one and only cerakote job looks good. But flat white- how bad can that be? Also, their SBR engraving they did on my magwell lip was great.

Holy shit what a way not t run a business. As a contractor and business owner for 20 +years I very seldom take on work once I am 3 months out. My experience is people get anxious even when they have no money on the line but winter is coming.

These guys obviously don't know priorities, when you are severely backlogged on work you don't go on vacation and you don't change your hours for fear of burnout. You do what I did last year which is work 3 months straight 10 hour days. That is how you clear a backlog and as it starts to clear and your approaching 4 weeks from being totally caught up you start taking on new work but telling people it's 4-8 weeks out.

I am currently out until October and only have approx 6 more slots after that for work, I told 3 people yesterday I could not do their work in time and was sorry I couldn't do their work. I probably turned down 50k in work yesterday.

The other issue with these guys is that they have been paid before service is rendered and have no compelling reason to get of their ass and get shit done.

Generally speaking I'll give small businesses the benefit of the doubt but these guys claim to have large contracts.

So in my opinion it's either their swamped with good paying jobs and over their head on low paying (down time) jobs or it's some dude in his garage with a toaster oven.

I was going to send them something awhile back but the apparent lack of disregard to customer inquires was a huge turn off.

I've heard of no issues with people getting Glock barrels from them in a timely fashion.  Maybe they buy them and rebrand them, who knows.

Is that the garage they are doing it out of?

Seems extra dumb because getting a decent setup to start out with cerakote doesn't seem like it would be insanely expensive. Some high quality sprayer guns, some blast cabinets, hell, you could probably use old ovens if you needed to and couldn't get something more industrial sized, so long as you could verify the temperature was consistent.

Are you implying they are working 30 minutes a day?? That would appear to be a gross overstatement. You know all those nice items are dumped in a cardboard box, 2k nightforce scope and 1.5k Ar shit just throw it in the corner will get to it in next year. Based on the garage pic I highly doubt he has enough secure storage
