With all of the threads on weight loss/ wanting to lose weight I wanted to see if we could motivate some people with some pictures of it getting done.

After posting pics, brief summary of what you did to get there.

I cut out carbs, refined sugar , and fried food coupled with an exercise regimen that started out just walking for an hour and doing push-ups in between songs on my iPod.

First day I did 50 push-ups. Last day I was on the rig I did 1000 in the one hour walk.

I now do 1000 crunches, 100-200 push-ups every day and work out with alternative weights( chains, sledge hammers, steel rods, etc)

Thank you everyone.

Now those of you who have dropped a person in weight post your pictures. You know you have them

I know you don't like looking at pictures of yourself where you look like you have eaten a dwarf, but if you can help out your fellow ARFCOMMERS with pictures of your results, do it!

BTW, don't let the age thing be an excuse. I was 48 in the first picture. Turned 50 this year.

Good job to the guys who were willing to share photos.

Food is generally the hardest part for most people, simply because it needs to be a lifestyle not a diet.

Shave that neckbeard and you'll loose a few more pounds!

Seriously, good work.  I'm working on it myself and am down 15 with about 35 more to go.  Found out diet is the key for me!

Wow, great job times 3.

No pics, but I dropped from a 32" pushing 33" waist in pants to a 31" sometimes 30" size in the last year.

I was trying to lower cholesterol by changing just one meal a day (lunch) and walking the dog more.  The weight loss was a surprise.  And great.  I was by no means big before, but the loss makes me more comfortable in my clothes.

19 I gained 35 pounds after high school football and decided I should be skinny and look good in college instead of be fat and friend zoned constantly.

So I quit working two jobs and worked out after classes and food prepped 6 days a week.

Finished at 5'6" 155 6.6% body fat.

5 years later I have gained 115lbs. Not a joke.  270lb and Miserable with myself.

Then it's time to do something about it. You got 115 lbs to lose. Start your food prep, and it's time to make some changes.

not joking man. Take your life to where you want it.

Fuckin start hitting it tomorrow morning bro. Get hungry and let your stomach burn. Stay that way. Drink black coffee on the morning and get pumped.

I did this last summer and dropped 45lbs in a couple months. Just keep a little bit of that hungry feeling. It sucks but it works.

For me, my knees and back no longer hurt after walking a mile or two. I carried a 120 pound doe about 3/4 of a mile through heavy woods and brush last season and did it without stopping. Zero pain.

When I do work out heavy my recovery time is a tenth of what it was at 325 lbs.

I feel great.

Starts with the first day. Make that day right now. You did it before, and if a couple of old ass fat fucks can do it, anyone can.( sorry voodoochile, you look like you may be within a couple of years of me, so you got limped into the "old fat fuck " category)

You know how, stop being miserable. Don't set any other goal other than " I will stop being miserable " and you will get there.

Get motivated. Dose up on some caffeine in the morning and fuckin start hittin it. By hitting it I mean finding excuses to walk places at work. Drinking water instead of beer and soda. Leaving yourself just a liiiiitle hungry all the time. Walk at night after you eat. Don't beat your dick as much either.

You are wrong. Got bf% by a trainer with prongs around every three weeks during my most fit. It was free at my gym.

Didn't help I was ghostly pale white in the sunlight. I have a picture or two in a darker area I have more definition.

I wasn't a lifter then, I was a runner. 6 incline miles a day with a little lifting.

At 12-16 I am fairly pudgy.

Congrats and keep riding!  I love to ride here in the foothills of the smokey mountains.  I can pick a route that is relatively flat, or can crank it up and do some serious climbing.
