I like this show a lot! I'm going to stick with it unless it takes a seriously wrong turn. It's weird but has a bit of complexity too, like in the first season when a boy approached Preacher to tell him his dad beat his mother, then when Preacher went to talk to her about it she said "yeah, I like it." A really uncomfortable topic with a suprising twist.
I hope they don't get too stupid in their treatment of Cassidy(?) the vampire. Seems like in the last episode he and Preacher were standing outside (daylight!) having a conversation at one point. Maybe I missed something though. But, yeah, it's silly enough to take lightly but subtle enough to be interesting. |

The opening of the first episode of the season was epic. Come on Eileen comes on the radio and they're all talking about what a horrible song it is, then they start the high speed chase and by the time they get away from the cops (the first time) they're singing it and saying it's an "okay" song.
Then the Saint of Killers starts blowing the cops away and it's so gorey it made me wince. |
