DENVER – Police have arrested a man accused of assaulting two random teenagers and then beating a 62-year-old man to death in the middle of a Denver street, according to KDVR.

I may be jaded and cynical, but I wonder about the race of the teens. It may not be that, but "random" beatings are odd. A mugging gone wrong seems more likely and either way it is sad that the good Samaritan died for his efforts.

Honestly at 25th and Curtis the teens were probably black as well. Nothing good happens there at 0400.

Well, the killer doesn't have to worry about where he'll be sleeping because of being kicked out of the homeless shelter now. Hope he enjoys 3 hots and a cot behind bars for the rest of his life.

And may his cellmate make it his life's work to make that a brutal and painful life.
