A Florida mother has been arrested after cops say she left her toddler son with total strangers before driving off.

The Vero Beach Police Department said the bizarre situation unfolded Saturday when witnesses saw Amber Warner walk into the Kountry Kitchen restaurant parking lot with her 2-year-old.

The witnesses, a couple, told police that Warner tried to get them to take the child from her, saying, "I can’t do it." The couple said she then placed the boy on the ground in front of them.

Warner allegedly then got into a black truck and left the parking lot.

Well at least she didn't drown or beat him to death.

I applaud her.  She could of killed the child but chose to let him live.

But anyway

I'm pretty sure most parents have felt that way without following through.

There's nothing wrong with laying them down in their bed and letting them scream for a little while if you feel overwhelmed.

The emotions resulting from having your mother, your source of everything at that developmental stage, abandon you is heart breaking for one to consider.

There are no questions asked drop off places around here, but I think they're more geared towards newborns.

Fuck her.  I bet she thought she could do it when she was doing it.  She needs to permanently lose her kid immediately and never be allowed to have any more.

Or maybe she was just overwhelmed with no emotional support. She needs to get help. Then let's figure out what to do.

This. I was adopted after parental abandonment that occurred when I was six months. Adoption went through at about 16 months.

Hopefully the kid ends up in a loving home. Mother doesn't need any children in her care and hopefully never will again.
