No new accounts with gmail, help for my kid

My son just bought a lower from PSA last week and wanted to sign up here. He only has a gmail account so he can't. He does not have a work email, it is gmail or nothing for him.

Any suggestions for him to sign up.

No I don't want or need a burner account. IM me and I can provide his gmail address if that helps.

Most ISP's will let you set up multiple emails.

I pinged Aimless on it and also got an IM from a member that used a work around email provider that I won't mention in this post, I want my boy to set up his account before the loophole is discovered by the system.

His ISP is a "big cable company" and he does not live in town with me. He is totally on his own.

Local community college .edu account...I know this one lets you get a email before you enroll.

I kinda don't get the no gmail thing.... sure, scammers use it. But honestly gmail and other hosted emails (outlook.com, office360.com etc) are pretty common as main emails these day. You're seeing the days of personal, corporate and ISP emails fading. My last three companies have all run on Gmail.

You have a few years on me here, but when I signed up they made you use an email that could be traced back to an actual person like an isp provided one or work email. I didn't have either or I would have signed up sooner, but I found a work around. They will let you change it to yahoo/gmail after you set up your account though.

Yeah I remember being surprised when I couldn't sign up with gmail either. Too many spam accounts I guess?

After you make the account you are allowed to change it to a gmail account.It had to do with all the spammers just making tons of gmail, Yahoo etc accounts, making an account and then spamming.
