Seems like every year we have a country moving farther and farther left. Thanks to big cities we have entire apartment blocks filled with FSA stuck on the government teat and vote accordingly. I really think the only way to reset the clock a bit would be for an action by Trump or any other strong conservative leader to send the left into open rebellion. It would be messy and bloody, but only after people see the "open-minded thinkers" turn into terroistic savages, can we truly MAGA

The left will never stop coming after our rights. The pot is simmering

Why is arfcom so retarded that people ask a question in the title, then a totally different question in the poll?

If we ever have a civil wars based on political views I'm going to be fighting Libs and Conservatives.

Yes the only way to save America is violence. The left WILL kill us all if we don't kill all of them. People like those antifa fags won't be won over. Those kind of people wont stop until they kneel in front of a ditch waiting for the knife on their neck or the gun to the back of the head.

Republicans are within a state or two of being able to call an honest to God Constitutional Convention. Honestly, I'd ask how this is "moving left", but I really don't want to hear whatever half-baked, persecution-complex fueled justification you've built for your civil war masturbation fantasy... |

The Civil War can be avoided. All we have to do is convince the dipshitz in California to secede from the union. We won't have another Democrat in the White House or Supreme Court for a hundred years.

Most of the Rs are basically Ds is how this happens. And then you have some Rs who aren't Ds, they're worst. What it boils down to is we basically have no one who actually represents a small, pro Constitution government. View Quote |

Humans always gravitate towards dictatorships. For us and many others, future and past, progressivism is the vehicle. Feelings and free shit always win the long game against facts and hard work.

The party's base is becoming more liberal according to the latest Gallup poll.
The firm, which has followed shifts in the ideological leanings in each party for some time now, reports that "47 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents now identify as both socially liberal and economically moderate or liberal." Previous surveys revealed the affinity for such terms was much lower. The one taken the year Obama was first elected president, 2008, found that only 39 percent of respondents regarded themselves that way. In 2001 that number of 30 percent. |

If less than a hundred antifa faggots occasionally getting together and causing minor property damage and punching a few people cause you all to think that the United States is close to destruction then I don't really know what to tell you guys...
I guess it's a good thing that these overly dramatic and defeatist attitudes weren't commonplace during the time where we actually faced tens of millions of legitimate fascists and communists and still won. |

I've been here for fifteen years now and we have always been on the verge of a civil war during that time.
...or martial law...or race war...or an illegal third term of Clinton...or an illegal third term of Obama... So.... |

We won this time. Enjoy it for a minute. Shut the fuck up with the whining and focus on 2018. Opposition parties are chomping at the bit right now to see some failures. There were millions of tit suckers ready to vote in an old socialist cocksucker who thinks that chicks and dudes should piss together in collective bathrooms. They won't quit, ever.

Hey first "Will we have a civil war" thread of the week! Man time flys.
|
|
Not going to happen. Whatever conservative principles means to you, you're in a minority among conservatives, and conservatives are in the minority among republicans, and republicans are in the minority among Americans, and the same is true with liberals.
You can't get a dozen guys to agree on anything even in an echo chamber, and the mass media outlets that might have been capable of shaping broad opinion enough to do so have been significantly discredited. If we killed off the half of the population we personally most despise we'd have to do it again in ten years because the divides we don't see today run just as deep as the ones we do. |
|
I think there's a higher likelihood of WWIII than a US Civil War II.
|

Yes, but unfortunately there aren't many Republicans/GOP on my side, either.
It won't be a split-down-the-middle kind of thing. |

The smart people will always not give a shit about all the pushy left BS and go to church and love their families and work hard and enjoy life. I mean it sucks the left has taken over the voice of America via Hollywood and social media and colleges and stuff. But I think they are still the minority. Most people ignore all the crap they spew and go on with their daily lives. But yeah it would be better if we could grab the mic sometimes, or shut down the extreme media bias brainwashing.

I don't think it's unavoidable, but it's not anywhere near unthinkable.

The demmunists certainly did a number on the nation through Divide & Conquer, so much so I doubt even another 9/11 event could bring us together. Balkanization is where it going to wind up, just ain't no fixin' it, we're outnumbered by FSA. They can't even make health insurance go back to free market, afraid to take taxpayer-subsidized health insurance away from people with no skin in the game, who would never vote GOP anyway.
