Kahr P9 in Uncle Mikes in the pants holster. Federal Hydro Shoks. Thought about wearing the Colt 1911 with Remington Rand slide, but I am reading today, so I need to be a bit more discrete.

Non church-going heathen here, probably going to Hell, but I'm going to carry my Colt Defender today when I head out (yeah, subcompact 1911, unreliable POS, probably going to jam in an emergency thus ensuring my rapid journey to Hell).

Uniformed off-duty LEO's at every door and two more at the parking lot entrance. I'll have something in the car for the driving to and from but don't feel the need to CCW in church. Rather focus on Him than a weapon digging into my back and/or spooking all the blue-hairs and kids. Just not that much of an operator or bad ass I guess.

Thanks for sharing, Bob. Not that you'd know, but after you carry for a couple of years, you no longer notice the gun. You also quickly realize that the blue hairs and kids never notice it, either.

Personally, I feel a moral obligation to protect my family. Outsourcing that to some third party of questionable ability my be attractive to you, but I've never been able to understand that mindset. I guess some folks take the biblical reference to sheep a little more literally.

Either way, I find your misplaced, thinly-masked contempt laughable.

That is what I do most Sundays. I don't think Monsignor is thrilled when I am always standing in the back, but he understands why.

Went to sunrise service this morning with the same old P238 as every other day.

Front pocket carry has worked the best for me. This little gun hasn't not been in my front pocket if I've been outside of the house in almost 2 years.

But, if I do go anywhere today, I'll be carrying either my G19 or my Canik TP9SF Elite.

Urban Carry G2 holster, 01:00. Critical Duty 135gr +p. And a spare mag.
