Looks like it performed exactly as designed...

eta:  looks like it wasn't attached correctly to the tow vehicle

Should've used a recovery strap and not a tow strap.

Probably a Harbor Freight tow strap.

NOT a recovery strap for snatching!  lol

Looks like the shackle wasn't at least a rated 3/4" actually failed, and entered the rear window.  All involved were VERY lucky.

I always cringe when people put themselves in the path of the straps if they were to break.

Allahu Strapbar or Allahu Snapbar or Allahu Slapbar?   It's Ok, you don't need your eyes to set off your vest tomorrow.

All he had to do  was throw a burka over the tow strap.

Since he was moving around I think the guy in the bed just ate a loop and not a shackle...

I have recovered all manner of vehicles using everything from recovery straps to do tie-outs. Using proper methods and some semblance of safety, I've never had a break much less an injury occur.

That shit was hilarious.

I like the way the dipshit high-centered the truck.  If he had angled, he would not have gotten stuck.  But then the she goats would not be as impressed.

50-75 years from now the oil will be gone and they will be driving camels again.

Yes, even tying a t shirt on both ends really cuts down on the energy they can release when they break.
