I have a bone spur behind my fingernail on my left index finger, can this be cut out as an out patient at my doc's office?

Discuss it with an ortho surgeon. Don't be afraid to ask the surgeon what they would do if it was their finger.
Do you have any other joints that are inflamed or any other bone spurs? If so, might want to ask about some tests for TNF and rheumatoid factor. |

Go see an orthopedic surgeon, preferably one who did a hand fellowship. They can get it all taken care of for you.
