ETA: grammar |

Why? Family get together?
I'm in Jax. I like the warm weather here. |
|
Family is all from and still lives in Pittsburgh.
We like the Jax weather too, that's why we were the first ones to leave PA |
|
<----- staying in JAX because it's -5° back in Michigan. I can tolerate 66° & light fog.

Hope yall have safe travels. I will be driving overnight from Knoxville to Oklahoma City on Thursday.

You guys should come stop by Cafe Notte on Ohio River Blvd this week. Great place to go for a semi romantic dinner that wont break your wallet.

As a lifelong Jacksonvillian, I long for a white Christmas at least once. I'm a little jealous.
Are you planning on carrying on the trip up there? If so, what? Congrats on the engagement and safe travels! Merry Christmas! |

Congrats on the engagement and safe travels! Merry Christmas! View Quote My Florida CCW has reciprocity with PA and all of the states we will be passing through. Since winter clothing is required, I can easily carry my Shield 9 with the extended mag. Not sure if it will be a white xmas, but who knows, the weather there changes on a dime. Merry Christmas to you, too! |

Sheetz or WaWa? I like both but Sheetz will let you put ANYTHING on the menu on a sandwich. |

is there going to be some homemade pumpkin pie when you get to Pennsylvania?
|
|
Skipping toll roads in PN? Freaking $27 last time I did it.

How awkward is that road head gonna be with her brother riding in the back seat?
|
|

Honk the horn when you pass through the New River Gorge
GO BUCS!!! What beautiful BLIND GF you have there. |
|

Sometimes we fly and sometimes we drive. Flights just seemed to be stupid expensive this year, and we didn't drive last year, so we figured it was road trip time. |

81 North sucks from the 255 - 321 due to congestion and 65mph speed limits. MTO is always good to go.

Do you have 4WD? Because looking at the weather forecast here you're probably going to want 4WD.

Yes! Funny that I am doing the opposite and leaving "dixie's sunny shore" (almost) and going to Pennsylvania. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Quick update:
There was a little drama before we left. A small rock chip in the windshield turned into a huge crack 2 hours before departure. Safelite got me a new windshield installed last minute. We are 300 miles and 5 hours in. Fiancé is excited that we stopped at chick fil a for dinner. We are fueling up off of I77 near Columbia, SC. Just bought some 0degree washer fluid because they don't sell that in Florida It rained for 4.5 hours from the start till we hit I77. Was frustrating. It's 39 degrees and dropping and my thinned out blood is tellin me I'm cold Safe travels to all the other holiday travelers! |
