From a Michigan resident, just another tick on the list of why TN is one of my favorite places in the country.

Remember all you guys who mocked the SJW degrees of Gender Studies, Black Studies, etc., as being worthless in the job market? Here is one of the three places they go:
The University of Tennessee’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion View Quote The other two are government policy offices and corporate HR. Who is laughing now? |

Sounds like the Diversity office has a very narrow view of inclusiveness

The university was quick to deny the stance of UTODI and removed their statement from their web site. It would seem there was serious push back on this move and it was deemed a ‘slippery slope’. View Quote Ya don't say! |

This isn't the first time UT's Marxist diversity office has caused some shit.
Defunding diversity They riled up everyone around here with the gender pronoun shit last year. |

The war on Christmas continues. I'm proud of these kids for taking a stand.

Good job, boys! As a graduate of both Auburn and Tennessee, they are very different campuses. Mrs. wecsg is Kentucky and Tennessee, so we sure have a mixed-up SEC family. I will say UT had way more shitheads than Auburn back in the day, but this happens when you have one major school in the state versus two. Makes me proud to be a Volunteer: I bet those young men had a "Go fuck yourself" verbal message for the weepy hand-wringers.
Edited to say many Tennesseans followed Davy Crockett to Texas, and were instrumental at San Jacinto: "Remember Goliad! Remember the Alamo!" The spirit is much the same; Texas is born of people like the good folks of Tennessee. |
|
Good job guys.
I am still not a fan of christmas, but no way will I condone a decoration ban. |

Hmm. I bet a couple of alumni 7 figure donors rang up the University President and had a quiet word.

This warms the cockles of my heart
Merry Christmas, Go Vols! |
