so I may have held my muzzleloader capper in my mouth today while my hands were full and got my tongue stuck to it... like a dumbass

it took a tiny bit of skin off my tongue and the tip has been numb for about 3 hours now
so how long does this shit take to heal?

no idea, but when I was in first or second grade I was sucking on an icicle at the bus stop, and had it freeze there.  An eighth grader helpfully yanked it loose for me, leaving a ring of lip and blood around the icicle.  fun!

My bad... was confusing frozen tongue with pierced tongue healing.  Go with the salt...

I once was trying to start a pony-motor on a drilling rig draw-works and took my glove off to better handle the starter rope. Leaning over to re-wrap the rope on the flywheel, I put my bare hand on the top of the motor. Ooops.   Bad move.

Ended up having to piss my hand free. Good thing I'd been goofing off in the dog-house drinking coffee all tower.

Still, it was an 'experience' being stuck to a motor at -30 below.

LOL
I did that with a mini mag flashlight 1 time deer hunting in Canada.
I was packing my gear up in the blind and stuck the flashlight in my mouth to hold it. Tongue touched the end of it and presto. I could hear my guide coming on the 4 wheeler to pick me up and not wanting to be embarrassed pulled it loose and saw a small piece of my tongue stuck on the end.

Thanks for the post OP, I was just going through my muzzle loading equipment and I didn't have a capper.  Now I do and promise I won't stick my tongue on it.

I did it in first grade.  I can't remember if it was the flagpole or just a fence post. Needless to say, getting laughed at by every kid at school was a tad embarrassing.

It's better than I. When I worked at Pizza Hut as a teenager I stuck my tongue to the freezer racks to see what it was like... More than once... Like 6 times... Not sure why.
