Do you put a black sling on your EBR, or a contrasting color?

I'm going with black, by the way.

Mostly because the only slings I've bought are black.

Some are black, some are OD green.  Depends on the rifle and what type of sling I put on it, too.

The same color as your work, SHTF, lizard people or zombie clothing.  Minimize contrast as much as you can.  Of course you're carrying a black colored rifle... but still...

If the sling is simply a truck to range carry strap, then get what's cheap.

On ARs, I prefer the OD green cotton web sling (i.e. the sling originally intended for the M14). The nylon black sling works, but OD variant is cooler.

I discovered that rifles seem to shoot with the same accuracy no matter what color they are, so yeah, I still have black rifles....

The question presupposes that I have a rifle and colored slings from which to choose.  If that is my greatest concern this evening, am indeed a most fortunate person.

Basic black is rarely wrong, but a nice ox blood colored military styled leather sling on a Garand that has a walnut stock with all sorts of fiddleback grain in the wood, and a deep reddish brown color to the wood really is gorgeous.

I never really thought about sling colors.

2X DCM guns have black leather Turners.
2X Windhams have tan leather Turners
1X RRA has a tan Magpul gen1 MS3.
1X Bushmaster carbine standard M16 sling in black.
1X PSA carbine black Vickers.
1X Armalite carbine has a black leather Turner.

Sadly they were all lost in a boating accident/fire/tornado/hurricane.

Ha you funny OP.

Now that I think about it, almost all my slings are different colors. Leather, black, tan, coyote, kryptek, OD.
I don't think I have an all-black gun. I don't even like all black handguns.
I LOL at guys who have camo pants/shirts/plate carriers but sport a BLACK rifle.

Black, it goes with everything.
If I'm mixmatching sling/rifle color combos now I have to worry,
do my socks go with this?
What color belt?
Tie, no tie?
Etc.....

Generally black because that's the cheapest BFG sling.  With the recent sales I've bought other colors because they are cool.

I like either, I got the  stealth grey magpul sling for my last rifle. thinking about changing the stock and grip to grey as well.
