The cold and snow and ice get old quick up north but
the lack of bugs and not being able to smell the trash in the city is nice. |

-12°F tonight -3°F for a high on Sun and -15°F Sun night.
12" of snow on the ground and plenty of dry oak under the porch roof. 2 wood stoves fired up Skid steer with a heated cab to plow snow with I got no complaints |

12 above with 4" of fresh snow today, below zero tomorrow. I'd take a bit of FL weather right now.

I'm heading down there in a couple week for the winter. Only 2300 miles.
And before I hear any bitching about snowbirds from you crackers, If you see a Ford Expedition with this yak on top, GTFO of the left lane and let me thru. I got tides and fish to catch.

The -5F and foot of snow on the ground here is a feature, not a bug.
While there are few liberal FSA near me, at least one of them is moving away because of the recent snow/ice/cold. It's a bit difficult out here if you can't think more than 10 minutes into the future and depend on the government or someone other than yourself to keep warm and fed. The snowplow doesn't always come through when it snows and sometimes the power goes out. I live here on purpose. |
